Job Purpose:

Job Purpose:
Responsible for ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement of both wholesale and SME loans (Secured) and related credit operations to minimize risks while maintaining quality of the loan book; Ensure all booked loans are in line with credit policies and procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the management in ensuring that all the agreed SLAs with business are met and ensure continued customer satisfaction while reducing risks and maintaining book quality.
  • Maintain portfolio quality on agreed thresholds by ensuring loans are disbursed in accordance with agreed SLAs and accuracy.
  • Ensure that the daily logs of disbursement are done as per SLA.
  • Receive allocated logs of pending applications and ensure disbursement is done in accordance with the credit policy and procedure per product.

  • Review the allocated drawdowns and ensure completion before disbursement.

Senior Specialist; Operational Risk Incident Management, Analytics & MI (1 Position(s))

Job Purpose:
Responsible for managing the end-to-end incident management process, ensuring timely identification, reporting, and analysis of operational risk events across the bank.

Monitoring and analyzing risk incidents, preparing insightful risk analytics, and generating management information (MI) reports.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure operational risk events are reported accurately, completely, and in a timely manner as per operational risk event guidelines. Analyze root causes, assess resolution effectiveness, and recommend control enhancements to prevent recurrence.
  • Oversee loss reporting processes, ensuring that financial and operational losses arising from risk events are accurately captured, categorized, and analyzed. Identify trends, root causes, and recommend corrective actions to minimize future losses and strengthen control measures.
  • Facilitate product risk assessments for new and existing banking products to ensure appropriate risk controls are in place.
  • Coordinate exception reporting, ensuring all deviations are identified, analyzed, escalated, and mitigated.
  • Provide detailed Operational risk reports, management information (MI), Insights and analytics to senior management and relevant committees.
  • Assist the Secretariat for the Product Approval Committee (PAC) by preparing risk-related documentation, capturing meeting minutes, and ensuring decisions are documented and implemented.
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across all three Lines of Defense to strengthen risk controls and governance.
  • Conduct risk management assurance reviews to assess the effectiveness of risk controls, policies, and frameworks.
  • Perform data analysis to identify emerging trends, root causes, and areas requiring enhanced controls.
  • Facilitate and deliver risk management training to business units, zonal risk specialists, and key stakeholders to ensure risk awareness, risk culture and policy adherence.
  • Support reputational risk management by managing the identification and escalation of potential risks to the bank's brand and public perception. Both in HQ and Across the zones.
  • Develop, update, and implement risk policies in alignment with the organization's enterprise risk management framework.
  • Maintain a risk culture within the bank by promoting awareness, risk-based decision-making, and proactive risk management approaches.

Job Purpose:
Create NMB Digital customer base management strategy for NMB bank and delivery thereof through various customer value management activities and initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Analyse customer data for insights to implement and execute a customer value management strategy to maximise customer lifetime value and the contribution of the customer base to overall services revenue.
  • Lead the business transformation to embed CVM and data driven decision-making principles and culture across the organization.
  • Support the implementation of all CVM campaigns e.g. upsell NMB customers to transact more, cross-sell NMB into the other services, inactivity and churn management campaigns, real time contextual trigger campaigns.
  • Customer insight analysis
  • End-to-end campaign management in terms of operations & execution
  • Creation & execution of campaigns within the agreed timelines
  • Collaborate with product owners and other stakeholders for gathering requirements and translating them into campaigns after doing a feasibility check and preparation of business requirement specification (BRS)
  • Campaign configuration, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business rules validation, prioritization, launch and post launch monitoring
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external(vendors), support teams to ensure campaigns are running as expected as well as facilitating fixing any technical issues affecting ongoing campaigns within agreed SLAs
  • Support the availability of data for reporting of CVM campaigns and initiatives performance
  • Create/maintain all campaign related documentation (Briefs, Change logs, Business Cases, UAT documents, BRS)
  • Maintain processes, templates, and other documents that support best practices
  • Regular review of campaign platform, capabilities, integrations, and channels with technical/business steams to give recommendation on future enhancements and improvements to support business needs
  • Implement and manage a holistic blueprint for campaign management & fulfilment by scoping out the datamart layer all the way to the fulfilment layer.
  • Integrate output through campaign management, charging and fulfilment platforms, by translating CVM objectives to IT / Technical teams.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of bank alternative channels business, understanding of banked and unbanked customer base, market segments, pricing, products & services,
  • Knowledge of government policies relating to banking, BOT regulations, -bank policies & procedures.
  • A proven self-starter with ability to work under high pressure environment.
